The Indiana Pacers didn’t close out the New York Knicks in Game 5 of their Eastern Conference Finals series, but they have another shot to do so on their home court on Saturday night in Game 6. With a trip to the 2025 NBA Finals on the line, excitement is at an all-time high, with franchise legend Reggie Miller issuing a savage six-word message before the game.

After cruising past the Milwaukee Bucks and Cleveland Cavaliers in the first two rounds of the playoffs, winning both series in five games, the Pacers appeared to be on track to subject the Knicks to a similar fate after jumping out to a 3-1 lead. New York won in Game 5, though, to keep their season alive and force a Game 6.

Indiana is looking to return to the Finals for the first time since 2000, when Miller led them to the championship series, where they ended up losing to the Los Angeles Lakers in six games. Now, with a chance to book their spot in the Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Miller made clear what he expects to happen in this game.

“You know what time it is,” Miller said as he arrived at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for his Game 6 broadcasting duties.

If the Pacers close out the Knicks on Saturday night, they would find themselves matched up with the Thunder, who posted the best record in the NBA this season. The No. 4 seed in the East, Indiana would be the underdog in this series, but that’s a label they have embraced throughout this run.

First, they have to actually get there, though, and that involves winning Game 6 and preventing a potential Game 7 from taking place. Miller clearly believes that now is the time for the Pacers to book their spot in the Finals, and with tip-off scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, we will soon find out whether or not he’s right.
