Jalen Brunson had another explosive performance during Thursday’s game, producing at least 30 points in a game for the 10th time this postseason. Around him, New York had it’s best all-around game of the series, as the Knicks won by 17 points for the biggest margin of victory in the Eastern Conference Finals so far.
Both Brunson and Karl Anthony-Towns have scored at least 20 points in each game this series, and the Knicks will need more of that to extend the series.
On the other side, the Pacers’ playoff run has largely been fueled by road dominance, as Game 5 was their first road loss of the playoffs in nine games. At home, however, Indiana is just 3-3 during the postseason, with two losses by double-digits.

While the Knicks played a Game 6 in both of their previous series, winning each game, the Pacers will play in their first Game 6 this year as they won each of their first two series in five games. Indiana will be looking to end this series on Saturday, while New York wants to force a Game 7 on Monday night.

Knicks vs. Pacers highlights from Game 6 of Eastern Conference finals
8:47 p.m.: Haliburton’s first points of the game come midway through the second quarter, as he hits an open three to give Indiana a six-point lead.
8:40 p.m.: An OG Anunoby spurt ties the game at 33, as the forward has eight points to lead all Knicks players.
8:36 p.m.: Pascal Siakam had a relatively quiet Game 5, but he’s been more active in Game 6 including two made threes.
End of first quarter: Pacers 25, Knicks 24
8:31 p.m.: The first quarter ends with two Delon Wright free throws, shrinking the Indiana lead to one.
8:24 p.m.: Indiana is taking advantage of the Knicks’ bench minutes and have re-taken a three-point lead, 25-22. Haliburton has yet to score but his four assists have helped Indiana’s offense get out quicker than in Game 5.
8:21 p.m.: Brunson’s first three of the game ties it at 20, while both teams are turning it over a little more than usual.
8:19 p.m.: So far, the Knicks have the edge on the glass but the Pacers are pushing the pace in transition, demonstrating both teams’ strengths.
8:13 p.m.: The Pacers have picked it up, as they are now on a 11-2 run themselves to take a four-point lead at the first media timeout.
8:10 p.m.: New York is off to a quick start, as the Knicks have an early 9-4 lead.
8:07 p.m.: We are underway from Indiana! Knicks win the tip-off to begin, and Jalen Brunson opens the scoring with a quick two.
7:50 p.m.: The Pacers are starting their usual five in this Game 6.
